Eikoniki Taxonomy is a scholarly open access journal for descriptive and documentary research in biodiversity. The journal supports high quality species level studies, including formal descriptions, redescriptions, documentary treatments, iconographies, type catalogues, field studies, morphological documentation, locality records, and other evidence centric contributions that advance the understanding of biodiversity.
TaxonImprint v1.5 (Beta Release)
The public beta release of TaxonImprint v1.5 is now available. This release provides the full evidentiary metadata lexicon and the strict extraction protocol used in Eikoniki Taxonomy. The standard can be applied to any species level taxonomic paper and is designed for reproducible, zero inference extraction of evidentiary metadata.

Scope
Eikoniki Taxonomy publishes descriptive and documentary taxonomic work with a strong emphasis on clarity, reproducibility, visual documentation, and open data. Contributions may include modern treatments of species, type material, and field based records. Articles may be purely documentary or may present formal taxonomic acts.
